An optical illusion where a dog appears to have two heads is leaving internet users extremely puzzled.
The image, shared on Reddit by a user named BeanzMeanzBranston, features two dogs, which are mixes between a German Shepherd and a Siberian Husky, lying on a rug. However, the two seem to be joined at the mouth.
“My dogs sometimes share the same mouth,” reads the caption shared with the confusing image, showing Skala and Kai playing together. Many people have compared them to a creature straight out of the movie The Thing.
It is difficult to distinguish their individual shapes due to the mass of white fur, and as their bodies are facing each other, it appears as if the two share a mouth. This is because one of the animal’s heads is atop the other, and both have their mouths open in a similar manner.
